Each slot is lined with folded NOMEX® Type 410 insulating paper and the armature coils are installed in a similar manner to the equalizer coils. The last armature coils are the most difficult to install because portions of the first coils installed must be gently moved out of the way in order to tuck in the last coils beneath them (as seen from the commutator end).
